New Balance could make a shock return to football with reports that this season will be Liverpool's last under the Warrior label.

Parent company to Warrior Football, New Balance, could be about to re-shuffle their soccer department. That’s according to Liverpool fan magazine ‘The Anfield Wrap’ who have suggested that this season will be Liverpool’s last with Warrior, with the club reportedly switching to the New Balance label from the 2015/16 season. New Balance have previously designed kits for Swansea City between 1998-2000 and Argentine sides Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata and Ferro Carril Oeste.

Some description

Warrior have made significant inroads into the football industry since 2012, partnering with Liverpool, Porto, Sevilla and Stoke City along with signing Premier League brand ambassadors Vincent Kompany and Marouane Fellaini. Their three-silo boot collection, which includes the Skreamer, Gambler and Superheat, has gained recognition from boot fans for their unorthodox styles and designs.

If New Balance also decide to return to the football boot market three decades after their first ever boot, the reported re-brand could also signal the end of Warrior football boots. The New Balance boot which launched in 1984, was famously worn and endorsed by England and Manchester United captain Bryan Robson, who collaborated with New Balance to design the series he wore for the rest of his career.
