Karim Benzema hit the back of the net twice wearing his adidas f50 adizero Yamamoto boots as Real Madrid put five past Athletic Bilbao. While Gareth Bale returned to the Neon Pink colourway, the French striker stuck with his limited edition boots after their first Champions League appearance earlier in the week.

Francesco Totti

From his early days with the adidas Predator, Diadora and older Nike Tiempo models, Totti has always worn a boot with a fold-over tongue. After agreeing an official deal with Nike last year, Totti finally ditched his blacked out Tiempo IV boots, moving into the Tiempo Legend V bespoke with a fold-over tongue. Now the trend has continued onto his "Neo Turquoise" Legend V as seen here from Roma’s Serie A match against Juventus.

Yann M Vila

Now here’s one that immediately caught our eye. After kicking off the season in a blacked out pair of Nike HyperVenoms before more recently moving into the Magista Opus, Inter Milan midfielder Yann M’Vila is now getting into the Italian spirit by rocking a pair of Pantofola d’Oro Corner Vitello boots, one of the older models in the Pantofola range.

Azerbaijan side Qarabag FK travelled to the San Siro for their Europa League fixture against Inter Milan last week with club forward Leroy George took to the field wearing one of most stand-out boots currently in the game; the “Electric Green” Nike Mercurial Superfly IV boots. A bold selection from the Dutchman whose side lost 2-0 to the Italians.

Reynaldo

Another spot from the Inter Milan vs Qarabag Europa League match came from Reynaldo, who just edges out Leroy George for the best name of the week. Reynaldo was seen sporting a pair of “White/Black/Slime" adidas f50 adizero Messi boots just a week after wearing the more recent “Neon Orange” colourway in Qarabag’s Europa League match against Saint-Etienne.

Carlos Tevez

Any kind of endorsement deal Carlos Tevez had with Nike seems to have come to and end after the Juventus striker was spotted wearing a pair of blacked-out “Volt/HyperPunch” Tiempo Legend IV boots. It comes just a few days after Tevez wore the “Neo Turquoise” colourway in the Champions League. With adidas set to take over from Nike after this season, we might see the three-stripes table an offer for the Argentine who’s been wearing the Swoosh for his entire career.

Luis Miguel Noriega

Another player who’s adopted the “Neon Orange” f50 adizero Messi is Luis Miguel Noriega. The Puebla man matched his boots with some alternative pink laces to create a unique look as his side took on Mexican heavyweights Toluca, with the midfielder scoring the equalising goal in a 1-1 draw.

Luis Fuentes

Someone else has been treated to an early pick-up of the upcoming f50 adizero colourway over in Mexico. Pumas defender Luis Fernando Fuentes was spotted wearing the white/green design against Leones Negros. Despite dropping early in Mexico, the boots aren’t set for an official European release until the end of the October.

Montpellier striker Lucas Barrois refuses to be shaken from his all-white Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII boots that he’s been wearing since early 2013. The on loan striker from Spartak Moscow has certainly settled in the custom boots, giving them their latest run-out in Montpellier’s Ligue 1 match against Nice.

Alex Song

It looks like PUMA have thrown a bit of cash Alex Song’s way after the former Barcelona man was spotted at Upton Park wearing a pair of evoSPEED 1.3 boots. The Cameroon international kicked off the season wearing the Magista Obra, more recently wearing the latest “Hyper Turquoise” for West Ham’s trip to Old Trafford.

Andres Iniesta

As the lead face for the Magista silo, we would have expected Andres Iniesta to be the first to step into the new “Hyper Turquoise” colourway. For some reason though the Barcelona playmaker is still doing his business wearing the “HyperPunch” launch colourway, spotted here during Barcelona’s La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano.

David De Gea

Another Premier League player PUMA have seemingly added to their books is Manchester United's David De Gea. Having been spotted training in PUMA gear earlier in the week, the Spanish shot-stopper put in one of his best displays in a United shirt wearing the evoSPEED 1.3. There was no change on the gloves however, with De Gea still wearing the Nike Vapor Grip.
