Nike players are beginning to switch into the Mercurial Heritage Collection ahead of this weekend's fixtures as Manchester City's Leroy Sane wore the 2014 Superfly IV design in training this morning.

The Swoosh have released five iconic colourways on the Mercurial Superfly and Vapor 360 silhouettes, and each colourway mirrors a Mercurial design from each of the past five World Cups. Sane being supplied with the 2014 colourway on the Vapor 360, which he's expected to wear against against Swansea on Sunday.

Nike have carefully hand-picked the players to wear each specific colourway depending on their nationality, and which nation won the World Cup that year. I.E Sane is wearing the 2014 colourway because Germany won the tournament that year.

The pattern follows suit with Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele (France) set to wear the 1998 edition, Philippe Coutinho (Brazil) wearing the 2002 design, Italy's Federico Chiesa wearing the bright yellow drop from 2006, and Real Madrid's Marco Asensio in the 2010 colourway.
