Antoine Griezmann (Barcelona) PUMA Ultra SL

PUMA returned to the race for the lightest (and therefore fastest, because light IS fast don't ya know) boot, releasing the new Ultra SL, which weighed a mere 90g. Antoine Griezmann slipped into this wisp of a boot for Barca's 2-0 win over Osasuna this week.

Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea) Next Gen Nike Tiempo

Toni Rudiger became one of the first players to test out the next generation of the Nike Tiempo, wearing the classic blacked out prototype in training this week. From this sneak peek we can see that the lacing area appears to be one of the areas to get a tweak as part of the rework. Look forward to seeing more of this.

Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) Mizuno Morelia Neo III Beta

Bellerin progresses his experiments with Mizuno, lacing up a blacked out version of the Morelia Neo III β, having previously worn the Rebula Cup in recent weeks. Could be that the Spaniard is continuing to trial any boots that grab his fancy, or it could be that he's seriously considering Mizuno as a permanent option.

Big midlands derby on the weekend with Aston Villa taking on Wolves, but it didn't quite live up to the potential, ending in a 0-0 draw. However, Ross Barkley had prepared for the occasion by giving a debut to his new Phantom GT, customised by Nike By You.

Tanguy Ndombele (Tottenham Hotspur) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII

Tanguy Ndombele stands out as quite the character in the Spurs ranks, and that was exemplified this week when he wore two different colourways of the Nike Mercurial Vapor in training, with black on the left, and the 'Daybreak' colourway on his right. Odd combo that didn't carry across into Spurs' win against Crystal Palace.

Nick Sullivan (Perth Glory) adidas F50 Adizero I

Hats off to Perth Glory's Nick Sullivan for expertly matching his side's kit with the adidas F50 Adizero I from 2011. Didn't help the result though, with the Glory not living up to their name and crashing to a 3-0 to Wellington Phoenix.
