Following reports linking him to Warrior, is Aaron Ramsey set to become the face of New Balance?

Aaron Ramsey has been the subject of much debate recently. The midfielder was spotted testing a mystery pair white-out boots earlier this week, before putting them into competitive action in the Premier League and Champions League. With his adidas days behind him, early reports point to a potential deal with American brand Warrior. But with unconfirmed reports of Warrior Football's rebrand to the New Balance label - something that was rumoured earlier this year - has Ramsey actually been training in the first NB boot of 2015?

If the reports are true, any Warrior/New Balance rebrand could mean the end of the Superheat, Gambler and Skreamer silhouettes, lessening the chances that Ramsey is testing a fourth Warrior silo. Instead, there's a chance that Ramsey has been testing one of New Balance’s opening gambits into the football boot market.

If Warrior/New Balance have captured Ramsey’s signature, it will signal some serious intent from the American footwear manufacturers, who could also add Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj to their stable - the Belgium international is currently wearing a white-out edition of the Warrior Superheat. Ramsey wouldn’t have been short of offers following the end of his adidas deal and would no doubt have had an offer from Arsenal kit manufacturers PUMA. It’s all speculation at the moment, but expect some kind of announcement before the end of the year about the future of Warrior Football, New Balance and Aaron Ramsey’s white-out football boots.
