New York-based designer James Taylor creates footballer vinyl covers

We love a bit of footballing art and the latest piece to catch our eye is the stunning work of New York-based designer James Taylor, who has combined his love of Vinyl LP's with some of the world's greatest footballers to create a beautifully vintage collection of work.

The project, titled 'LPFC' uses iconic photography from World Cups of old and places them on old school 12-inch vinyls (ask your old man) record covers.

Pele, George Best, David Beckham, Diego Maradona and Bobby Charlton all feature in Taylor's brilliantly unique way of celebrating the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, with Beckham's vinyl titled 'Spice Boy'. Now there's an album we'd buy, Becks belting out covers of every Spice Girls classic.

Our featured vinyls make up part of a 24 design collection of glorious footballing artwork.
