Parc des Princes is a truly unique stadium. From the outside, inspired architecture pierces the sky while inside it is every bit the footballing theatre. Strolling through Paris, we step inside and enjoy the wonder that is a jewel in the PSG crown.

This is a place unlike any other. This is where ripped jeans and a retro shirt are joined with contemporary style and high-end chic. It's a meeting point for minds as well as a Parisian hotbed that binds the city together. In its own way, the Parc des Princes has it all. From the walk up as you near the stadium to the beautifully French surroundings. The raw concrete and jagged edges pave the way and lure you in while the atmospheric energy swallows you up. Just one small encounter with the stadium and you're a fan for life.

Built in 1972 and housing just under 50,000 fans, the structure remains the same. A real trophy of design, architecturally, it could quite easily be mistaken for a gallery or museum. It doesn't disturb the surroundings which in turn are collectively made up of elite sports facilities such as Roland Garros and the Stade Jean Bouin. Before you've walked in, your eyes will study the timeless concrete structure - it's a work of art before it's any old sports facility. Most wonderfully, 'any old sports facility' it is not. A real symbol of Parisian culture and synonymous with the creative values of the PSG brand, it really is a marvel before you've even tasted any football.

Travel inside though, make your way past the concierge desks and various places to leave your motorbike helmut and you'll be met with a green emerald of perfect pitched qualities. The best in show, the internal refurbishments, though subtle and sophisticated, have plenty of give. The blue and white colours pop while pin stripe reds tie it all together and bring that emphatic spirit home, with regal tones. From the sidelines the view is sublime, though behind the goal, the distance between front row and back of the net is noticeable. Though it's not an untouchable distance and the atmosphere is very much kept in from these prized positions.

A rock and rock kingdom for the creative game and an inspired jewel in the global crown of the footballing world. It's time you took a trip.
