Versace throw down more football vibes as the high-end Italian fashion house release a follow-up design to their debut $700 football jersey that launched last month.

Venturing further into the sport, Versace increase their presence in a trend embraced in current fashion and lifestyle circles. Sportswear designers have changed their mindset by placing a strong focus on how a football shirt will fit into a lifestyle environment, and now fashion brands are picking it up and running with it.

When a super high-end label like Versace are designing their own football jersey you know that the sport has made itself very much at home with its feet up on the table in fashion's front room. The luxury fashion label have dropped a secondary grey short-sleeved striped jersey with red accents on the side and collar.

On the rear of the shirt features the wording and number "12 VIA GESU” — a shoutout to the location of the brand’s Italian headquarters. On the front it's all very bling with the iconic “Versace” logo complementing the brand’s Medusa Head and a golden crown.

Versace have also been showcasing a women's edition of the football jersey in recent weeks, which uses pink and black stripes on the same template as the second launch. June 2018 and Versace have a complete set of football shirts for a season. Home, away and third, with a strike-force of football and fashion.
