Back for a seasonal update, PUMA and Madchester join forces once again with a new Manchester City-infused collection, which pays tribute to the late 80s early 90s Manchester music scene that still reverberates today.

Following up the first collaborative collection from earlier in the year, PUMA are once again back with a wavy lifestyle take on the Manchester City look, courtesy of local brand, Madchester. The collection sees a far more understated look than what came before, with a toned down colour palette utilised across the entire range, with the Manchester City x Madchester Tee and Parka Jacket standing out as the hero pieces of the collection.

This sequel collection picks up where the first left off, still inspired largely by the generation-defining indie-dance scene that put Manchester on the map and took the world by storm, and it reflects the city’s cultural attitude and aesthetics of the time, captured perfectly by Madchester.

So named after the term that captured the city's music and cultural zeitgeist of the late 80s and 90s, ‘Madchester’ was copyrighted as a brand several years back by two of the city's key fashion and cultural game-changers, brothers Anthony and Christopher Donnelly. Their unique approach to Manchester City’s wardrobe has already been catapulted into the global stratosphere with the ‘MDCR’ branding regularly being shown off on the touchline by Pep Guardiola.

Paul Spencer, Puma's European sales director, said: "We are extremely proud of the tri party collaboration between Puma , Man City and Madchester, celebrating the heritage and history of Manchester and culture around football and music .

"This only goes to demonstrate the Progressive mind set of Man City and Puma’s partnership enforcing the relationship with the Manchester City community."
