Nike's on-pitch line-up continues to influence their off-pitch collection as the Swoosh serve up a piping hot trio of Air Footscape Magista colourways straight out of sportswear's most innovative design kitchen, the NikeLab.

The Magista's innovation has triggered inspiration amongst the broader Nike design team as the Air Footscape Magista transforms the cleats to the streets, just as the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly HTM did in 2014. As with all NikeLab drops the Air Footscape Magista is released in limited numbers and maximum demand. Fancy copping a pair? Act fast.

Some description

Reflecting the look of the Magista Obra football boot's heel, Nike have crafted a leather heel counter in the Air Footscape Magista as well as merging Flyknit and leather materials to create a natural look and feel. The outsole features an Air Footscape Freemotion tooling, which was first introduced in 1995 to mimic the natural shape of the foot. An updated and current version landed in 2010 with Nike Free-inspired siping enabling natural motion. Each of the white, black and blue colourways uses an encapsulated Air-Sole unit in the heel for added cushioning to round off January's slickest sneaker drop.

The Nike Air Footscape Magista is available in NikeLab retailers and on nike.com/nikelab in Western Europe, China & Japan from Jan. 22 and in N.America from Feb. 15. Thoughts?
