Cristiano Ronaldo's signature Nike lifestyle collection powers into new ground as the Swoosh serve up a limited edition Air Force 1 CR7 Golden Patchwork sneaker. The latest addition to football's most decorated signature series continues CR7's venture into the premium lifestyle market.

For a man who has signature pants, socks, and perfume, there ain't many items in Cristiano Ronaldo's life that don't have his 'CR7' logo emblazoned on the them. An ego-trip? Perhaps. But more so a marker of his domination in football throughout his illustrious career. A career that deserves golden recognition. Quite clearly CR7 is still performing at the top of the game, but with time no longer on his side Nike could be beginning to install the Real Madrid man as a key lifestyle component of their football collection as he approaches the off-pitch scene.

Nike have followed up the Air Max 97 CR7 drop with a limited run of Air Force 1 CR7 Golden Patchwork sneakers that carry the same message of Cristiano Ronaldo's childhood. As a young boy, Ronaldo was limited to just two pairs of shoes – one for playing football in, and one for wearing to school. As the story goes, his school shoes were well kept, but his football shoes always ended up with holes due to the endless amount of time he spent playing the game. Each time he'd get a new hole in his shoes, his mother would patch them up.

The limited edition Nike Air Force 1 CR7 Golden Patchwork is built with a white leather lining that allows the textured golden leather Swoosh to take centre stage. The CR7 and Nike Air logos are embroidered onto the golden heel tabs, and CR7's signature is hidden on the inside of the shoe. The limited edition sneaker will drop on December 7, the day of the Ballon d'Or Award ceremony where Ronaldo is set to pick up his fifth award.
