Making more noise in their new SpeedFactory adidas have launched a new AM4MLS shoe ahead of the MLS ALL Star game next month giants Juventus. Created in Atlanta, the hosts of the game, at ATL United's training ground, it's a design that represents more than just cutting edge innovation.

Atlanta United midfielder Darlington Nagbe teamed up with emerging artists Travis Love and Rich the Kid to design an iteration of the AM4MLS shoe that celebrates the city's rapidly growing football culture. The Three Stripes have already toyed with the SpeedFactory by showcasing the AM4MN American Football cleat in February. Now the pace is stepped up once more.

The adidas SpeedFactory can create a custom boot 3x faster than standard production. Adidas are calling it 'future of manufacturing and customisation' of how they create product as a brand. The technology is data driven and digitally produced, giving each player a totally bespoke fit. Don't be surprised to see it introduce itself to football at some point.

The design of the AM4MLS sneaker feature an intertwining pattern to represent the unity if Atlanta's diverse communities. The red and black colourway is a nod to Atlanta United's home jersey. What's also pretty smart is that the AM4MLS shoe will be the first of its kind to bring the sound of the city to life through an embedded NFC chip enabling access to a Spotify playlist curated by Rich The Kid.

The playlist are a tribute to Atlanta's rich musical history and its influence amongst artists across the country. As for the All Star game; that's on August 2 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium when the very best of MLS will take on Juventus.

The adidas AM4MLS shoe will be exclusively available at WISH ATL on July 28, and on the adidas online store a day later.
