We’ve all heard of players getting signature boots, but in a rare turn up for the books New Balance have given Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp his very own signature pair of 990V3 trainers.
The New Balance NB1 x Jurgen Klopp 990V3 trainers came about after New Balance invited the charismatic German in for a customisation session on the NB1 platform, where he created his very own matchday ready 990V3, which mirrored the team’s colours with a red suede upper and white detailing with abbreviations of the club’s anthem and motto, “You”ll Never Walk Alone”, embroidered on the back heel for a personal touch.
Klopp expressed that his hectic schedule often means he has little time to think about what he wears on the pitchside, but that comfort is always important. Upon completion, the Liverpool manager wore the special gift in the Red’s next match against Leicester.
The NB1 platform gives you the option to design custom versions of New Balance shoes utilising a range of colour palettes and bespoke text.
