The Samba strides back on to the sneaker scene, reaffirming its position as an icon in the footwear world as adidas fittingly release the limited OG ‘420’ just in time for April 20. Premium presentation for a member of sneaker royalty, these are a must have, both on and off the terraces.
The classic Samba silhouette returns once more, this time with a plush velvet upper and premium suede overlays, bringing those Samba vibes back to the fore once more. Now in its seventh decade, the Samba looks as fresh today as it would have done when Adi Dassler first designed it back in 1950.
Coming in a deep purple velvet upper that’s complemented by classic suede overlays to complete the deluxe feel, the Samba OG 420 features the numbers “4” and “20” on the underside of the gum rubber outsole on the left and right shoe respectively, calling out the iconic sneaker and the date of release in a nice double header. For a finishing touch, a hidden stash pocket inside the tongue provides the authentic feels that are ingrained in the Samba DNA.
