Stadium stripes hit NYC as adidas launched its latest New York-based flagship store. The new four floor space titled "Stadium" covers all categories under the watchful eye of a Franz Beckenbauer statue – the legendary German defender wrapped up his playing at the New York Cosmos.
New York vibes inspire the layout, from tributes to adidas sponsored athletes, to retro stadium bleacher stands. The launch of the flagship store coincides with the release of the adidas UltraBOOST being launched onto the miadidas customisation service – the "Stadium" store boasting a number of exclusive options, including a NYC sockliner.
Football, basketball, running, skateboarding, all split into specific sections along with the latest footwear including the EQT and UltraBOOST launches. The NYC "Stadium" store is called Stadium for a reason. It's a big'un. Adidas have already got the ball rolling by kicking off the new space with a launch event attended by Desiigner, with DJ Esco on the decks. Three Stripes, four floors.
