Frank Lampard hit up Shoreditch with adidas this week to celebrate the launch of the Champions League Trophy Tour in London. The countdown to Cardiff is on, but before the prestigious trophy travels across the Severn Bridge into Wales it was kicking off the party 150 miles east in London.
2012 Champions League winner Frank Lampard headed into the capital to link up with the adidas Tango Squad for a series of cage challenges as the Champions League Trophy glistened in the late London sun. Adidas will be taking the trophy to a number of locations ahead of the showdown in Cardiff on June 3 between Real Madrid and Juventus, and what better way to get the tour underway than a local winner heading back into town.
A London send off for a famous trophy that has been lifted a massive seven times in the English capital and will travel to Wales for the first time next month as Cardiff and adidas are set to throw an epic weekend of football celebration. The best is yet to come, that's for sure. Roll on June 3.
