Bringing a creative game to the fore while showcasing the many faces of the grassroots women's game, the artists formerly known as Boiler Room Ladies, now 'Romance FC' return with their fantastic Playing for Kicks tournament.

Reworking their own brand and shifting on from Boiler Room ladies to Romance FC, this creative collective is on a strong mission to take on a completely new approach to the way in which women’s football tournaments are portrayed and executed. With the 'Playing for Kicks' tournament, it's a fun and inclusive space for women who have love for the game.

The tournament will see 12 respected grassroots teams from London, Essex and Paris whose mindset and community spirit hold them high as perfect contenders. Each team will take to the five-a-side pitches to battle it out to be hailed champions of Playing For Kicks 2017. Expect plenty of life, heaps of sole and some serious atmosphere. Tunes will be laid on thanks to DJ sets from Romance FC & friends; Season Zine, XL Recordings, NTS Radio and more.

F A M co-founder and original Romance FC player, Nell Jordan-Gent will lead the evenings curation alongside an inspiring line-up of guest speakers from all walks of the creative and sporting world.
