PUMA increase their interest in the Bundesliga by announcing a new long-term partnership with five-time German champions Borussia Monchengladbach. As of July 1 PUMA will become the official technical supplier with a 2018/19 kit announcement imminent.

The two parties have a rich history as Borussia Monchengladbach wore PUMA kits from 1976 to 1992, a massively successful era for the club, which included five German championship titles as well as one German Cup and two UEFA Cup victories. In fact in 1967, PUMA started to supply the team with shoes, and later with the legendary track jackets and trousers.

PUMA have already given Monchengladbach fans a glimpse of what's to come as they showcased a number of lifestyle pieces and training wear as the club returned to pre-season this week.

Bjørn Gulden, PUMA CEO: “We are proud to be the new partner of Borussia Monchengladbach. We have a great and successful history with the club. Gladbach plays a fast and dynamic football, which is fun to watch. Its impressive academy, great fans and the image of this traditional club make Monchengladbach the perfect match for PUMA. We look forward to this new partnership!“
