Jersey culture has been enjoying a massive crossover into the fashion world, and that has naturally transitioned into London Fashion Week, with stylists and designers Bloody Osiris, Sami Miro and Sita Abellan incorporating the newly released Paris Saint-Germain 2019/20 third shirt in their streetwear style.

Paris Saint-Germain are leading the way in the crossover with the fashion world, experimenting with designers and labels such as Koche, Manish Arora, BAPE, Edifice and Hugo Boss over the last few years. But you get the feeling that their journey in the football x fashion world has only just begun, and next to pick up the baton and run with it are U.S. stylists Tim Berkin, AKA Bloody Osiris, and Sami Miro, along with Spanish model and designer Sita Abellan, who all turned up at the London Fashion Week with the recently released PSG 2019/20 third shirt featuring as part of their individual street styles.

Nike launched the PSG 2019/20 third shirt this week, and it followed a throwback 90's theme that was carried across many of the brand’s third shirts this season, most notable for the return of the Futura Logo. The shirt took influence directly from the club’s 1989 kit, infusing a contemporary feel on the classic design, and it appears that this clean, retro look has not gone unnoticed by the fashion world.

Bloody Osiris is a New York-based stylist, model and art director who rose to fame for his self proclaimed high fashion hood rat style and creative endeavours. Sami Miro works out of LA and has a passion for all things vintage, something which sheds some clarity on decision to wear the PSG shirt. Finally, there's Spanish designer and model Sita Abellan. Do we expect to see them at the Parc des Princes anytime soon? Probably not. But the eclectic bunch together do display the reach and influence that jersey culture has in the fashion industry today. Very PSG, indeed.
