To celebrate the launch of the FW19 Spezial collection adidas took the label back home to Blackburn for a trainer exhibition in association with the British Textile Biennial. Opening the doors to the Cotton Exchange in the Lancashire town the Spezial team showcased over 1200 pairs of adidas footwear from past and present.

Famous faces from sport and music roamed the venue as hundreds of unique, limited edition, customised and signed Three Striped silhouettes were joined by the latest adidas Spezial clothing and footwear collection for Autumn/Winter 2019. Curated by Gary Aspen, the exhibition, which took on a strong terrace vibe, hosted appearances from Shaun Ryder, Mani from Stone Roses, Bradley Wiggins, The Illicits, and Blackburn Rovers' Bradley Dack.

Proceeds from the Spezial exhibition on King William Street in Blackburn, which is open for the next fortnight are going to support a local charity in Blackburn. There's also a range of Spezial nights that will be on over the next few weeks including performances from Goldie and Dynamo. Separately, we're assuming.
