You know it’s nearly Christmas when teams start rolling out the festive tunes, and first out of the gate in that respect are Celtic, who have got together once again for a jolly sing song around an open fire. Probably roasting chestnuts and some such.

Reworking the classic ‘We Three Kings’, the whole Celtic squad get involved in a rendition that’s dubbed ‘Star of Glasgow’s Green and White’. The video sees club manager, Neil Lennon orchestrating a star studded cast of first team players, management team, women’s team players and Lisbon Lion Bertie Auld, as as the Bhoys prepare to put on a magical Christmas show. Fun and frolics a-plenty.

As well as the video acting as an advertisement for all of Celtic’s festive products, in the true spirit of Christmas the song is also being released as a single with proceeds going to Celtic FC Foundation’s Christmas appeal, which this year will help local families who are facing poverty to enjoy Christmas. The appeal will also be supporting a number of initiatives working with refugee families who have come to Scotland, as well as assisting Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Spirit Aid and many other great causes.

The 'Stars of Glasgow’s Green & White' charity single and all the festive products showcased in the Celtic Christmas Ad are available online at celticfc.net/store.
