adidas and Bayern Munich have today unveiled the new official home jersey for the 2014/2015 season. The new shirt highlights the three colours of the club crest in a stylish new striped design.

After a bittersweet season for Pep Guardiola's men that saw them crowned German champions for a 24th time and dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid, club sponsors adidas have given their iconic jersey a rework for the 2014/15 campaign by reintroducing blue stripes to the famous red shirt.

The last time adidas wore red and blue was in the 1995/96 season where they were crowned UEFA Cup Champions. Between the three blue panels sits two blue pinstripes while the iconic adidas three stripes that shape the sleeves of the shirt continue to be white, completing the three-colour scheme that has shaped the club´s success in the last seasons.

The shorts have stayed much the same with a blue coloured mesh added to the back. The red and blue combination continues through to the socks to complete the new look.
The back neck of the jersey feature's the now famous ´Mia san Mia´ motto which translates to "We are who we are".

David Alaba, Bayern's left-back, praised the new kit saying "Red, blue and white - these colours belong to Bayern Munich. I cannot wait to fight in the new jersey for the club and our fantastic fans."
