Chelsea enter a new era in the 2016/17 season, arguably their biggest yet in the Abramovich generation. A new manager, no Champions League football and a hell of a lot of bouncing back to do. For their new away strip, the club have looked to happier times with a colour scheme inspired by major honours.

With a fresh street vibe, the 2016/17 Chelsea away shirt features an engineered mélange stripe fabric in grey and black with neon yellow accents. A familiar look for Chelsea fans and a colour combination that was ever present across the 2000s, and a key feature of the club’s landmark successes across this decade including winning the UEFA Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.

Some description

Conte's crew will be travelling in style away from Stamford Bridge this season, in a strip that blends lifestyle and performance. Young striker Kenedy replicates the fresh, new generation feel around the club and takes on modelling duties. The kit will be worn for the first time during the club’s US tour on Saturday 30 July, when Chelsea take on Real Madrid in Michigan. Nice, but it's all a bit Wales away, right?
