The National Team might not be in fashion this Summer in the Netherlands, but the new Nike home and away shirts are typically stylish for a refreshed KNVB to put things right after sitting out the 2018 World Cup.

Nike have launched both the home and away shirts, which are usually one of the key drops on the calendar ahead of a major international tournament. The Oranje's absence will be missed in Russia, but the new looks are all about the future. The famous orange is more than just the men's team, it'sanational identity and one that was in full effect last summer, when the women’s team became European champions.

The 2018 Netherlands home shirt is a deep orange; a brighter citrus shade and features flashes of white to make up a speed blur on the sleeves. A polarized blue away shirt pays homage to the team’s classic 1988 change colors, while a deep royal blue geometric pattern celebrates “Total Football” — the pioneering style of play that earned them reverential status in the ’70s.

The Netherlands' 2018 home kit is available April 26, and the away from May 17.
