With the worst of the recent Coronavirus pandemic behind the nation and with brighter things on the horizon, Nike has unveiled new kits for the 2020 Chinese Super League, with four stunning designs provided for Beijing Sinobo Guoan, Shanghai SIPG, Shanghai Greenland Shenua and Guangzou Evergrande.

With an optimistic note and offering up some Far East flair, Nike have produced four stunningly individual designs ahead of the return of football to China. Following the unveiling of the new South Korea football kit and the recent release of the wider clothing collection, the Swoosh clearly have an eye on the Asian market. The region remains a relatively untapped resource from the West in terms of it being a cultural influence and thriving space that’s rapidly developing. And these latest shirts lend the perfect route for any football shirt fan.

Each shirt is an individual and bespoke design. First up, the Shanghai SIPG home shirt features a red base with a disruptive black graphic through the main body that gives the impressions of vertical stripes. Across town, and the Shanghai Greenland Shenua home shirt boasts a clean blue base with a retro vibe that’s offered with that white collar. Think Rangers from the early 00s. Red trim then finishes off that collar and the sleeve cuffs.

The Guangzou Evergrande home shirt at a glance appears to be a standard red shirt with yellow trim. But a closer look reveals a stunningly unique sublimated tiger stripe patterning throughout the body. Finally, for Beijing Sinobo Guoan, Nike has taken a green canvas and introduced a bold yellow sublimated graphic in the centre that is reminiscent of the club crest, with yellow detailing again appearing on the collar and cuffs, while an all over cell graphic lends the shirt a deeper substance.
