Joining the already released home and away shirts, adidas launch the Bayern Munich new third shirt, completing the Bundesliga champions’ lineup for the 21/22 season. The bespoke design is inspired by the mountain panorama that surrounds Munich.

Paying homage to the surrounding landscape of Bavaria, the Bayern Munich third shirt drops from adidas, with a sublimated graphic inspired by the mountain panorama of Munich’s surroundings dominating the design. Using a white-blue colour scheme, the stylised mountain world is incorporated into the innovative look, symbolising the home ties and roots of Germany’s record champions as well as their demand to always aim for the highest peaks.

Set to be worn by the players for the first time at today’s Supercup against Borussia Dortmund, the shirt features accents on the sleeves and the collar in dark blue. The Three Stripes on the shoulder, the logo and the numbers on the back stand out on the kit with their red colour. The club’s famous saying “Mia san mia” is woven into the neck area.

Speaking of the new shirt, Thomas Muller said: “Being a born-and-bred Bavarian, I particularly like this look. I love the mountains, I love my home, and I think it’s nice we can illustrate to the whole world this special attitude to life we have here with this jersey.”

New FC Bayern Women player Saki Kumagai added: “I’ve just joined FC Bayern and felt at home from day one. Mountains always have a motivating effect on me, and they remind me of my home in Sapporo. FC Bayern is known for always having the highest goals, in both men’s and women’s football. That’s why we’re all here.
