With a design inspired by lilies, Fiorentina and Kappa together launch the club’s new home kit for 23/24, which will get its debut tomorrow, 27 May in their final game at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this season.

Few home kits in the world of football hit quite as hard as the purple hues of Fiorentina. It’s a colour that not many clubs boast, and as such it instantly stands them out amongst the rest, but there’s still always the challenge of keeping that home look fresh. For 23/24, Kappa achieve this by turning to lilies, the quintessential symbol of the city of Florence and Fiorentina as a club since it was founded. Lilies will be the central theme in the Kappa collection for the 2023/24 season, representing the integrity, vitality and beauty of the club.

The luxurious purple base is deepened by an all over tone-on-tone graphic of intertwining lilies, creating a DNA-like effect – a nod to the central role that the flower plays in the club and city’s identity. The pattern extends across the front, arms and back, while a white collar and cuff panels finish the look.

The shirt also features the wording “Play to be Different” on the outer edge of the collar, which represents the club’s brand, inviting people to stand out and embrace what makes them unique both on and off the pitch.

There are also 13 lilies printed inside the collar, like in the previous collection. This serves as a tribute to the fans, the club’s 12th man, and Davide Astori, the club’s eternal captain.

As for technical specifications, the Kappa Kombat Pro 2024 template offers cutting-edge ultralight fabrics and stretch Nylon, ensuring maximum comfort and elasticity. The shirt is made of 85 percent recycled polyester and 15 percent elastane. The Hydroway Protection Technology ensures high breathability and effective release of body heat.
