Raising awareness of the dangerous effects of droughts caused by climate change, Real Betis and Hummel have launched a new special edition “Forever Green” kit.

Alongside their performances on the pitch, Real Betis have always had an eye on environmental issues. Their environmental program, Forever Green, is now in its third year of life, and following on from their special sustainability-focused kit designs of 2021/22 and 2022/23, the club and technical partners hummel have now revealed their latest design just before the close of the 2023/24 season.

Modelled by Hector Bellerin, who is known for his impactful actions and statements on equality, climate change, and social justice, the “Forever Green” kit is being released to highlight the dangerous effects of droughts caused by climate change and the impact they have on football fields. Los Verdiblancos are encouraging their supporters to “use water responsibility”, as they aim to raise awareness of the problem.

The jersey design features the club’s traditional vertical stripe formation, presented in two different shades of luscious green across the upper portion. Then that green has a gradient towards brown as you travel down the body, with a graphic representing parched and cracked earth at the bottom, representing fields without water
