Mizuno see out 2013 with new Morelia Neo colour update.

Mizuno are rounding off the year with one last colour update on their impressive speed boot, the Morelia Neo. Not only is the Morelia Neo a great football, it always stacks up in the style stakes too and the new Pearl/Blue/Orange colourway isn't about to buck that trend.

If you're looking for a speed boot that's comfortable, lightweight and looks good, the Morelia Neo has you covered. The folks over at Mizuno continue to do what they do best, designing boots that offer clean simplistic styles. In their latest boot drop, the Morelia Neo blends a simple and stylish colour palette that gets the nod from us.

Mizuno's recipe for lightweight speed consists of two key ingredients, craftsmanship and quality. They've shunned the usual speed boot trend of lightweight synthetics to create the lightest k-leather boot in the game. Weighing just 170g, the super-soft Morelia Neo gives outstanding ball feel and comfort in a package unique to the Japanese brand.

Mizuno's back catalogue of Neo colourways have been extremely well received and the latest paint job doesn't disappoint. By re-working the orange, white and blue combo that we last saw back in June, Mizuno have created another great looking design.

Techwise, to deliver lightweight speed traction, Mizuno use their engineered Pebax sole plate - much lighter than TPU - which provides enhanced durability and greater flexibility. Using different densities in the heel and forefoot, Mizuno have created a flexible and rigid supportive unit for the Neo.

The new Pearl/Blue/Orange update is the ninth colourway to feature on the standard edition Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots and will be worn by a growing list of top athletes that includes the likes of Hulk, Roque Santa Cruz, Jonas and Carl Jenkinson.

The new Pearl/Blue/Orange Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots are available from selected stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. What do you think of the new colour update? Let us know. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
