Nike drop another stylish colourway on the HyperVenom template

Nike have released the first HyperVenom's colour update of 2014 with a slick Blue/Black/Volt paint job. Following on from the silo's last update, an impressive Neo Lime/Black colourway, the new boots have been so popular that some Nike players have already jumped the gun and laced up.

The colour up is the silo's 7th update and is expected to start hitting pitches around the world imminently. However the boots have been spotted on the feet of some Nike staffers over the past few weeks. Kevin-Prince Boateng, Adriano and Robert Lewandowski have all been spotted wearing the new colourway prior to today's official release.

Since their inception Nike have had fun experimenting with the HyperVenom template and for us this new colourway is another success story. The darker shades of navy and black that cover most of the boots surface are offset nicely by the bright volt Nike branding. Resisting temptation to use volt on the laces and opting for black instead is another nice touch that keeps the balance just right.

Launched in May last year the HyperVenom has been hugely successful both in the professional and amateur ranks, gathering an impressive following of top players. A boot that combines the latest in technology, innovation and style, the HyperVenom continues to be Nike's headline silo.

Nike created the HyperVenom as their new breed of attack and supplied the silo to some of their deadliest strikers. Despite the likes of Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic remaining in the Mercurial the HyperVenom currenlty features in the top 5 scoring boots in the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Premier League racking up just under 250 goals.
