Adidas have gone back to the drawing board for the third-generation 11Pro and given us their best yet. That coloured line down the middle? You might even grow to like it.

Backwards is forwards for the new adidas 11Pro and after a couple of seasons of suspect launch colourways and heavy dosages of modernisation, adidas have delivered what many boot purists have been calling for. With some old-favourite characteristics including a return to k-leather, the new 11Pro has accomplished a modern sense of heritage highlighted by that “Flash Orange” line running down the middle.

Perhaps adidas have been guilty of letting the 11Pro get caught in the jaws of the innovation monster, leaving some reverting to the Copa Mundial as the brand’s only real heritage offering. The new 11Pro model makes comfort the number one priority with an all new “engineered support skeleton” across the forefoot and heel. The new criss-crossed technology is visible upon closer inspection and offers enhanced fit whilst eliminating the need for stitching on the toe-box. After a mammoth year for the three stripes, the new 11Pro is already shaping up to be one of our favourite releases of 2014.

The new adidas 11Pro football boots are available from selected online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. Let us know what you think of the new generation boot.
