Nike deliver special 100 Cap edition HyperVenom boots to Wayne Rooney ahead of England's Euro 2016 Qualifier at Wembley.
To mark Wayne Rooney’s 100th international cap, Nike have done what Nike do - hooked the England captain up with a commemorative pair of Nike HyperVenom boots. Both of Rooney’s boots will carry the number 100 in big, bold numbers along with some clever detailing - one of the zeros forms a lions head, representing the famous three lions on the England badge.
Rooney will step out onto the Wembley turf wearing the boots this Saturday when England take on Slovenia in pursuit of securing qualification for the 2016 European Championship. It has to be said, with Wayne reaching a century of England caps at the age of 29, there’s nothing to say he won’t go on and become England’s all-time record appearance holder, taking over Peter Shilton.
