Nike continue their assault on the small-sided game with a nod to Tinker Hatfield's 1987 ostrich-skin emblazoned Air Safari - the first Nike shoe ever adorned with a print.

The Nike MercurialX Proximo "Safari Pack" dims the lights on the ostrich-skin print, similar in style to the "Black/Volt/Dark Shadow" CR Mercurial Vapor Superfly III. Trimmed with a "Bright Mango" that outlines the Swoosh and makes up the Phylon cushioning, the design is tailored for the winter streets with an aggressive and minimal approach.

Some description

Replicating the look of the Mercurial Superfly IV the Nike MercurialX Proximo adds an extremely thin Phylon cushioning system employed by the boot to ensure that it sits as low as possible to the ground while also keeping the weight of the boot to a minimum. Nike Grind rubber is used across the areas of the shoe that are exposed to high abrasion and drag, typical of street football.
