Umbro add a new line to their pro-level boot collection in the shape of the UX Accuro. Combining comfort and control, the UX Accuro takes on a sleek design with a host of new features to add a new dimension to the Double Diamond arsenal.

Dropping in a black and grenadine colour scheme that splashes across the Medusae and Velocita, the UX Accuro features dedicated touch zones on the instep to improve grip and first touch. The youngest member of the Umbro family also offers smooth strike zones in the forefoot to help deliver accuracy. A boot that can fill the void left by the popular Nike CTR and adidas Predator silos, both of which offered control and shooting technology on the upper.

A unique ‘pro-stance’ outsole stud configuration aids traction, balance & stability and a lightweight microfibre upper with a wraparound tongue construction provides a larger medial strike area. Padded collar lining and a dipped achilles heel tab bring further comfort. Umbro have designed a boot that ticks all the boxes of the central midfield player, creating technologies that can benefit receiving the ball, passing and shoot, all whilst experiencing optimum comfort. A worthy addition to their already impressive Velocita and Medusae.

Heading into the new 2016/17 season with a strong selection of wheels. Umbro will be looking to build on the success of their previous couple of seasons and the UX Accuro will no doubt help them muscle into the competitive control market. Safe start colourway wise, but expect a few vibrant mash-ups to follow.
