New Balance ring the changes ahead of the 2018 World Cup by launching a refreshed football boot collection consisting of the next-generation Furon 4.0 and all new Tekela 1.0 silo. Both wrapped in Russian vibes of red and white.

Dropping as the "Otruska Pack" to be worn by all New Balance athletes at the 2018 World Cup, the fourth generation Furon sits alongside the Tekela 1.0 in a strong New Balance line-up for the summer showdown. Whereas the Tekela replaces the Visaro, the Furon undergoes a few tech upgrades to continue as the brand's designated speed driver.

The Furon 4.0 from the Otruska Pack is designed for attackers and built for speed and accuracy. Using FantomFit technology and Hidraskin touch membrane, with an enlarged cleanlace contact zone, the Furon 4.0 allows for a clean, precise strike. The outsole has been engineered for acceleration; featuring a TPU with inlayed nylon chassis, directional toe off texture and finished with an Electro chrome plated outsole in flame.

That "White/Flame" combination is nailed on to look super sharp on pitch when New Balance players such as Tim Cahill, Kevin Mirallas, and Massimo Luongo all lace up in their opening group games. There's still time for New Balance to add to the player stable, and the "Otruska Pack" certainly won't damage their chances of adding more fire power to their ranks.
