The versatility of the Glitch 18 silo heats up as adidas drop a duo of designs that feature colour changing technology on the upper. Landing as the "Prep Skins" pack, the aesthetic is transformed with heat and UV reactive science.

Arriving in two options, the "Prep Skins" pack consists of a red colourway which turns to white when your feet warm up or you just rub it for a bit, and a white colourway that turns to blue when its in direct contact with UV light. Both designs reveal distinctive adidas branding and motivation wording when fully transformed. Clever, eh?

The Glitch 18 silo has served as an experimental platform for adidas since its introduction to the market, and adidas have once again pulled off a unique technology on this laceless canvas. The Glitch allows the Three Stripes to test potential future innovations on a versatile canvas, rather than on their leading on-pitch silos of the Predator, X, and Nemeziz.

The "Prep Skins" pack will be dished out to the pool of adidas Glitch players, with Tottenham duo Erik Lamela and Kyle Walker-Peters having already trained in the white design. Expect PSG's Presnel Kimpembe to follow suit in the red drop.

The Glitch series is still only available exclusively through the adidas Glitch App in the UK, Germany and France. Well over 50 outer-skins have now been introduced, all allowing players to mix and match from game to game.
