Arriving with a hint of influence from the “New Lights” Mercurial, Nike launch the Premier 2.0 in a clean white look with accents of “Light Current Blue” for a fresh look ahead of the 2019/20 kick off.

The Premier 2.0 often takes influence from Nike’s pack releases, with fresh interpretations that feature on pitches away from the biggest stage, and this time it’s the “New Lights” Mercurial. That boot heralded the arrival of the “New Lights” pack, landing with a striking core blue base that was accented with some wild white graphics. Now the Premier pays homage to that colourway, inverting it for a clean look that even whites out the Swoosh.

The vibrant “New Lights” pack has been opposed by the far more understated “Under the Radar” pack ahead of the 2019/20 season, and this has been echoed once more with the Premiers, the release of this colourway tying in nicely with the recent “Under the Radar” Premier, using the same “ Current Blue” pops through the “NIKE” heel branding, tongue, laces and studs, although the omission of colour in the Swoosh sets out a clear difference between the two.

Still sticking with simplistic yet striking two-toned colourways, and still available for sub-£100, it’s easy to see why the Premier 2.0 continues to be a firm-ground favourite for any player.
