Having been on pitch for a couple of weeks now, the adidas ‘Game Data’ pack finally gets an official launch, with brightly coloured options for the Predator Edge and COPA Sense landing in support of the all-new X Speedportal.

The adidas ‘Game Data’ pack has been pretty hard to miss over this last couple of weeks, with their brightly coloured coats popping on pitches across England during Euro 2022. Now the veil is officially lifted, and we get a closer look at the full pack, which sees the next generation in the X franchise taking centre stage, with the Predator Edge and COPA sense taking up supporting roles.

So X Speedportal takes the main focus, and as a next generation boot it boasts new technologies aimed at making its wearer even faster in all directions, whilst also maintaining a level of comfort. This has been achieved thanks to the retooled Speedframe technology, which makes the boot lighter than its predecessor, while a new high-speed stability system provides support, fit, and lockdown. It combines with the Speedskin 2.0, which offers improved comfort and touch. It’s all wrapped up in a hard-to-miss “Solar Green/Core Black/Solar Yellow” colourway.

Then we move on to the supporting players. First up the Predator Edge arrives in a vibrant “Solar Red/Team Solar Green/Core Black” colourway. The look sees the “Solar Red” as the base colour, dominating the look of the boot. It is then overlaid by the “Team Solar Green”, which pops through the rubberised ribs of the Predator Edge’s signature Zone Skin as well as through the branding.

Then for the COPA Sense we get possibly the brightest of the bunch – which is saying something – which arrives in a “Team Solar Yellow/Solar Red/Core Black”. It sees the “Team Solar Yellow” as the primary colour, with black accents working through the collar and soleplate, topped off by flashes of the red.
