Keeping the colour options coming, Umbro have launched the Velocita Alchemist and Tocco III in new colour ways, with shades of “Malibu Blue” acting as the connecting thread between the two.

Umbro dropped the all-new Tocco 3 earlier this month, kicking it off with a traditional colourway that homaged the original Tocco launch look. But now it’s given a brighter refresh, and it lines up alongside the Velocita Alchemist, which itself inverts the colour update it got when dropping in support of the Tocco 3 a couple of weeks ago. What that means is an equally striking look, with an official colourway of “White/Malibu Blue/Clear Sky” executed to striking effect across the ProWeave upper.

A patented woven technology, this unique weaving method from Texon gives Velocita Alchemist boots increased levels of elasticity and stability in a single layer upper made partially from recycled polyester yarns. No additional post-weave treatments typically used in conventional boot manufacture are needed, leading to lighter and 35 percent more sustainable boot.

For the Tocco 3, the “Malibu Blue” dominates the look, despite taking up final billing in the official colourway of “Allure/Black/Malibu Blue“. The Tocco 3 sees Umbro introducing FSDX Dyneema Leather on the boot’s forefoot. 15 times stronger than steel yet paper thin, Dyneema fabric is fused with leather to make Tocco 3 boots lightweight and ultra-thin, offering a greater touch sensation on the ball.

Further updates include a microfibre rear quarter to help keep the foot in place and reduce movement within the boot, while a low profile Insock follows the contours of your foot for added comfort. The upper is finished with crafted memory foam cut outs to create a bespoke fit. Finally, the energy efficient Pebax Powered Control+ outsole delivers ultimate grip, with wishbone technology providing maximum energy return.
