Bringing some next generation updates to its speed silo ahead of the new season, Umbro unveil the Velocita Elixir, which features increased levels of elasticity and stability in a single layer upper made from 50 percent recycled polyester yarns.

The new season is all but underway, and Umbro rolls out its latest weapon for the campaign, with the reveal of the all-new next generation Velocita Elixir, which arrives in place of the Velocita Alchemist. The Velocita Elixir sees Umbro continuing its partnership with ProWeave, a unique weaving method from Texon that gives Velocita Elixir boots increased levels of elasticity and stability in a single layer upper made from 50 percent recycled polyester yarns.

The Velocita Elixir debuts in a "Black/Alexandrite/White/Andean Toucan” colourway, and from a tech perspective, a single layer, woven upper seamlessly connects elasticity, stability, and abrasion to create targeted zones for added support and flexibility; this ensures the boots work even more with the natural movement of the foot. A subtle use of contrast colours woven into the upper also helps to visualise this innovation. Woven support spars run throughout the upper adding stability, whilst raised TPU yarns provide full surface grip.

Silver yarns give the boot new thermo-regulatory properties and an anatomically contoured and low-profile Speed Insock give enhanced feel for added comfort.

On the flip side, a Pebax Powered Sprint+ outsole brings multidirectional agility, while the stud geometry distributes pressure evenly for strong traction and a comfortable change of pace and direction.

A new generation of speed ready to take on the new season.
