Thailand international Tanaboon Kesarat took boot customisation to new levels on Tuesday by sporting a graphic gold and black edition of the Nike Magista Obra II, finished off with a modified Dynamic Fit Collar. That's one way of ensuring a bespoke design.

Kesarat was in action as Thailand lost 4-0 away to Japan in the Asian Qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and although his dreams of reaching football's biggest promised land took an almighty beating, his custom boot game was heavy. On first glance you'd be forgiven for assuming that the Thai midfielder was wearing a next-generation model but it's only on closer inspection that the identity of the design becomes apparent.

What fun is there in just buying a pair of football boots and wearing them? Kesarat has gone to great lengths to get his footwear bang on the money. Having whipped up a NikeiD custom gold and black visual display on the upper of the Magista Obra II he then focused his attention on the trademark Dynamic Fit Collar, trimming it back to create something that resembles a Flyknit version of the Magista Opus II.

The self-modification of the Dynamic Fit Collar is something we've seen numerous professional players execute since the introduction of the technology and Nike have already acknowledged a demand for lo-cut Flyknit silhouettes. The Swoosh have released a Flyknit lo-cut Hypervenom 3 to get the ball rolling, but have yet to announce plans for any of their other silos to follow suit.
