Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) Nike Mercurial Superfly 8

Tough deciding what to wear for your second debut for a club. Fortunately for Cristiano Ronaldo, he had recently been given a signature pair of Mercurial Superfly 8 by Nike in celebration of him becoming the all-time leading goalscorer in men's international football. He went on to bag a brace in them against Newcastle.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan) Nike Mercurial Vapor 14

Zlatan Ibrahimovic just doesn't seem to know when to give up. After nearly four months out and just ahead of his 40th birthday, the Milan front man came on to score his side's second against Lazio. And he did so wearing a personalised pair of Mercurial Vapor 14, which he had also been spotted training in. Does this indicate that the Ibra is back with the Swoosh?

Laszlo Kleinheisler (Hungary) PUMA Ultra 1.2 Lazertouch

For the World Cup qualifier against England, Hungary's Laszlo Kleinheisler opted for the PUMA Ultra 1.2 'Lazertouch', which dropped a couple of weeks ago. It sees the normal upper construction switched out for premium K-leather, while the use of its cutting-edge Lazertouch technology enhances the control properties of the material. Rare one to see on pitch, and particularly hard to pick out due to that crisp all-white presentation.

Virgil Misidjan (FC Twente) PUMA Future Z 1.2

Another from PUMA’s recent repertoire, and this time it was FC Twente’s Virgil Misidjan in the PUMA Future Z 1.2 from the 'Super Tech Craft' pack. The pack focused on elevating both the Future Z and Ultra's key innovations, and so this was the first-ever laceless Future. Misidjan wore it in Twente's 1-0 win over Utrecht.

Lily Woodham (Reading Women) Nike Mercurial Superfly VII KM

Reading's Lily Woodham went a bit Kylian Mbappe for her side's clash with Arsenal, lacing up in the Frenchman's signature edition Nike Mercurial Superfly VII 'Chosen 2' boot that dropped back in January. Didn't help the cause much though, with the Gunners running out 4-0 winners.
