Directing their talents to an ever-relevant social topic, creative studio Born Offside have produced a special ‘Pelé’ football shirt, with all proceeds going to Black Minds Matter.

Back in 1990 Pelé marked his 50th birthday with a charity football match in the name of Peace, with his All-Star Brazil taking on a World 11 featuring the likes of Roger Milla, Carlo Ancelotti and Marco van Basten. 30 years on and the world is still striving for the ultimate goal of that match, and so in honour of Pelé’s mission, Born Offside have released a special version of his iconic Peace jersey.

Crafted from a lightweight technical fabric the Peace shirt is available in black or white with short and long sleeve options. The design sees the word ‘Peace’ taking up the central focus on the front in purple, slotting into what is traditionally the sponsor space. On the reverse is Pelé’s iconic no.10, with the wording ‘One Love’ sitting above.

Whilst injustice and our fight against it is global, Born Offside want to help with matters close to home. By partnering with Black Minds Matter, a UK based charity that provides free mental health resources to some of those most in need right now, they’re offering support at a time when it is greatly needed, as the fight for ultimate equality continues.
