To kick-start the Chinese New Year celebrations ahead of the Year of the Ox, Inter Milan launch a Capsule Collection and a special home shirt, both of which feature a redesigned club crest, with a minimalistic but impactful representation of the characteristics of the Ox.

As has become customary for the Italian side over the last five years, Inter Milan have unveiled a special home shirt and supporting capsule collection that celebrates the Chinese New Year and the changing of the lunar calendar, strengthening their bond with Chinese fans, something that stems from the fact that they are owned by Zhang Jindong via his private holding company Suning Holdings Group. The core element of this product line is the iconic Inter logo, which has been altered to suit the occasion, bringing with it a minimalistic but impactful representation of the characteristics of the Ox, the animal of this coming new year. As has been reported recently, Inter are looking to somewhat reinvent themselves in the near future, with a name alteration and an expected new club crest. But before anyone gets any funny ideas, this ain’t it.

The capsule collection is comprised of a t-shirt, a sweater and a smartphone case, all presented in black and emblazoned with the golden Inter logo that is dedicated to the Chinese New Year.

The Home jerseys have the players’ names on the back written in Chinese characters, as has been done in the past, and that’s joined by a special patch on the left sleeve and a unique print with the Ox to enrich the numbers. The Nerazzurri will take to the pitch wearing this shirt when they play Lazio at home later on in the month.
