Off Pitch | Air Max 90 Ice pushes “making the invisible visible” to the max.

Creating buzz for Nike away from the football field are the latest introductions to the Air Max family. The iconic silhouette has been given an updated line-up for 2014 consisting of the Lunar90, the Jacquard and the featured Ice Pack that has been designed using a translucent-look upper with a unique geometric pattern.

The Air Max 90 Ice Pack brings new design elements to the table with a premium tape to give the sneaker a streamlined appearance and a layered semi-translucent midsole that follows the theme all the way down. Three exciting colourways launch the collection;Volt/Green/Black, Red/Crimson & Grey/White/Anthracite/Black.

Harking back to the original mantra of Air Max, the Air Max 90 Ice pushes “making the invisible visible” to the maximum. Beneath the hallmark Air Max bubble system and taking inspiration from the Ice edition of the Nike+ Fuelband, the shoes utilize a translucent outsole to show off one of Nike's most unsung cushioning heroes; Phylon.

The Air Max 90 has always prided itself on translucency. This time Nike are stepping it up a level, featuring a translucent upper in the form of see-through Hyperfuse construction which allows the computer generated geometric graphic to appear without distraction. The Air Max 90 Ice is Air Max like never before.
