Adding a new dynamic to their SS18 collection adidas Originals introduce a progressive silhouette taking references from the terrace movement and football culture of the 1980s. This here is the KAMANDA.

With football DNA flowing throughout, the Kamanda references the past by taking inspiration from the brand’s extensive archive, while adopting a modern design that looks like the Gazelle and Samba had some sort of heroic lovechild. The Kamanda drops in two colourways for SS18 – black & burgundy.

The premium design of the Kamanda is fuelled by the passion for football and has a classic sportswear aesthetic that football fans and players can instantly relate to. The terrace movement was born out of an alternative point of view on society and a desire to stay away from mainstream style values. The Kamanda shares that ambition.

The nubuck upper is matched by the trademark Kamanda translucent gum cup sole, another subtle nod to the classic Terrace footwear of the 80s. The Kamanda also features a suede foot bed and a rear quarter leather lining. The textured mesh tongue construction with over-laid laces adds to the unique design.
