The COPA 19+ TR is the latest adidas Football sneaker that strolls into “lifestyle” rather than “performance”. Just like the ACE, Predator and Nemeziz before it, the COPA 19+ TR takes influence from the pitch and translates it into a streetwear piece, the curvy design of the upper mimicking the COPA 19 football boot’s leather upper to perfection, giving a cushioned vibe in silky suede.
A more sophisticated modern take than the Predator and Nemeziz editions thanks to that suede finish, the COPA 19+ TR features a Boost midsole and a mono-tongue construction, both of which combine to offer that supreme comfort. Available in Off White, Black and Maroon, the trio of colourways are limited edition releases but adidas will no doubt continue the collection as the COPA 19+ football boot updates throughout 2019. Does it have the same seamless lifestyle feel as the original ACE 16+ UltraBoost? Not for us. Not many of the adidas football cross-over sneakers have, but it's a smart transition nonetheless.
