Taking their special edition mash-up to the streets adidas have launched the Predator 'Archive Mutator' TR complete with a Boost midsole as the Three Stripes wrap up their first limited edition pack of the decade in the most unique style imaginable.
Adidas are preparing for the next chapter of the Predator story by celebrating the iconic boot's illustrious past, and the brand's latest special edition project dissects Predators of old and re-builds them into a mashed-up maverick of nostalgic proportions. The Three Stripes, with the help of two of their most loyal Predator collectors, asked fans to pick their favourite Predator designs from 2004 onwards and then sliced them up into a left and right boot to make an odd pair.
Of course, the noticeable absentees would be the Mania, Accelerator and Precision editions, which were arguably some of adidas' finest work, but 2004 brought the Predator Pulse before editions such as the Absolute, Powerswerve, X, LZ all dropped and all feature in some capacity on the 'Archive Mutator' edition. The TR version lifts the same upper from the limited edition boot and places it on the Boost midsole for another twist of Predator goodness. Yep, mad one, this.
