Gearing up for the next wave of collaborative creativity, PSG and Jordan have prepared two more swooshless silhouettes: the Air Zoom Renegade and Zoom 92, both featuring hits of “Bordeaux” that possibly hint at the Ligue 1 side’s coming third shirt.

Following closely in the footsteps of the Air Jordan 4, which was revealed back in July, the Air Zoom Renegade and Zoom 92 also join the eagerly anticipated PSG x Jordan lineup for the coming season, with colour schemes that further bolster the idea that this could well be what’s used on the Ligue 1 side’s 20/21 third shirt when it’s finally revealed.

First up we have an interesting choice in the Air Zoom Renegade. Not content with the simple football x basketball crossover, this sneaker brings running into the fold. It employs an exposed cushioning pod, giving it a striking side profile, while upper features all-over patterns that transition from 3D-cubes at the rear, square tiles towards the centre, and circular graphics at the forefoot. A large perforated black semi-circle rimmed with gold trim is an eye-catcher, aiding the breathability of the sneaker, and the tongue takes on the “Bordeaux colouring that appears to be the running theme of the sneakers this time around. PSG branding graces the rear, including the heel tabs, which usher in fleur-de-lis decor and the same “Paname” sign off that appears on the Air Jordan 4 and the Zoom 92.

Speaking of which, it’s a return to the basketball territory we’re used to. A mix of grey tones are utilised on the base layer of the Zoom 92, with black nubuck forefoot overlays and the “Bordeaux” Swooshes providing contrast. More Bordeaux appears on tongues and throats, with a special PSG badge stamped on the heel and a fabric hangtag on the quarter. A grey midsole with its own forefoot Zoom Air setup supplies a finishing touch.

Expect the 20/21 PSG x Jordan collection to drop sometime in early October.
