adidas Release Special Edition Ultraboost x COPA For 7 Teams

Combining two worlds for a limited edition drop, adidas have unveiled the Ultraboost x COPA for seven MLS franchises, presenting it in club-specific colours and design details.

Sneakers have an obvious cross over with football, from both a performance and lifestyle sense, and adidas have previous for leveraging both, notably when they released club-branded Ultraboost trainers for their premium European teams back in 2020. Now they switch focus Stateside, combining two of their iconic footwear pieces for a limited edition drop for Atlanta United, Charlotte FC, NYCFC, New York Red Bulls, Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders, and St. Louis City SC.

Adidas already have a strong influence in North American soccer thanks to their kit partnership with MLS, and now they take things off the pitch, offering fans an alternative way to show support for their teams. Combining the classic leather upper of the iconic COPA with the comfort and style of the Ultraboost, the MLS Ultraboost x COPA features club-specific colours and design details like tongue graphics with the year the team was founded, lace tip callouts and branded sock liners.
